Auditions for West Side StoryPosted by Board Member on Wednesday September 9 2009Hi everybody!
Thank you all so much for coming out to auditions today, we had a great time working with all of you and hope to see you involved with Players in the future.
Unfortunately, this afternoon we were not able to see every person who auditioned act, sing, and dance before we all had to go home. As a result, and in order to be able to judge your auditions the most fairly, we are continuing auditions before callbacks tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon.
We need everyone to return for the last round of auditions tomorrow afternoon from 2:40-4:00. Everyone will have the chance to finish their auditions. If you left early today (Wednesday), we can easily work you back into auditions so you can cover any area you missed.
After auditions are complete, the Production Design staff will meet and produce a callback list. Callbacks will be announced in time for people who are not called back to take the 4:30 bus home.
Please remember both your group and personal numbers, this will make the process much easier for all of us.
Again, come dressed in comfortable clothing that you can move around in.
Be prepared to stay for callbacks until 7:30. Bringing water and some sort of snack is probably a good idea.
If you were a Dance only auditioner, you do not have to return for tomorrow’s (Thursday’s) auditions. However, you should check the Players website for information about dance callbacks, which will be taking place this Friday.
If you did not have an audition form, and we promised we would get you one, please email our director Zoe Benditt at zoe.bend.itt@gmail.com, and she will email you with one attached.
Thanks again everyone, and see you tomorrow!
